General

All reasonable and possible steps to make this site accessible to both partially sighted and users with speech and braille access technology will be undertaken.  If you have any comments please send e-mail to slevin@btinternet.com or alternatively fill out my on-line form here.

Shortcut keys

You can close all sub windows opened by some of my links on this site*, by using an [Alt+C] keyboard shortcut combination (Windows PC), or [CTRL+C] (Apple Mac).  If this should interfear with any default shortcut for a particular screen reader, while accessing these pages, then please do let me know.  Please send e-mail to slevin@btinternet.com or alternatively fill out my on-line form here.

* This only applies to MS Internet Explorer and Apple's Safari, which support shortcut keys.

Style sheets

If you like the colour scheme/style of these pages, and would like to use the cascading style sheet for general web browsing.  Then you can download it here and import it into your browser for general use.

Screen resolution

The main features of this web site are designed around a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels.  While this in itself should not cause any problems generally, some users may find that horizontal scrolling is required in some cases.  The higher, and now more common screen resolution, is used to fit more content into the frame width of the screen.  It is not feasible to make those pages totally compatible with the 800x600 screen resolution.  The other benefit is of course, that higher quality graphics can be used.

Java Scripts

If you receive a message from your browser, that scripts have been restricted to protect your security, (please note that no ActiveX controls are used at all by this web site.), then you have two main options.  The first is to instruct your browser that this site is a trusted web site, and you will then receive all the benefits that java scripts on this site have to offer.  Please see the security section within your browser's options menu.  Alternatively you can choose to ignore this message and still use the site fully, however, if you choose to override your browser by allowing a script on a single page, you may be constantly harrased by internal links on the site to perform the same operation, pages may also then contain controls which you cannot use without enabling the script.  If you ignore the message, however, you will be directed to none java script pages.  The scripts used by this site, do not access your computer in any way, however, as they are currently not digitally signed, you may feel more secure by declining the use of them.

Note: Your browser currently does not support scripts, or does not have scripts enabled for this page / web site.
